Solar for American Energy Dominance PAC, was created to support the American solar industry. We believe that residential, commercial and utility scale solar and domestic solar manufacturing are all critical to unleashing American energy dominance by helping create cheaper, faster to deploy and more reliable electricity for all Americans.

We are not political. We are solely focused on advocating for the entire solar industry.  When every sector of the solar industry thrives, the entire industry succeeds together. Divided and self-interested, we are all doomed to fail.

We have a specific advocacy focus on residential solar (supporting the Section 25D tax credit) and commercial solar (supporting the Section 48E tax credit) as the voices of those market segments, especially residential, are less represented in Washington D.C.

The residential and commercial solar developers and their supply-chain partners we support (from finance companies to distributors, manufacturers and more) are small and medium sized businesses located throughout all 50 states of the United States and represent over 150,000 high quality jobs and over 83% of the solar jobs in the United States. Companies and employees that every day focus on delivering more affordable electric power to American consumers and businesses.  Savings that are more important than ever because of recent massive inflation in power prices.

They have installed solar on over 5,000,000 homes and over 10,000 businesses in the past 15 years from Alaska to Texas to Maine to Florida. In large part, because of their work, solar represented over 66% of the new electric generation deployed in the United States in 2024. And every solar system the industry installs in the United States strengthens the resiliency of our power grid while protecting our national and economic security by ensuring we have the power generation to compete globally.

We believe that reasonable federal tax credits with a predictable off-ramp will provide the solar industry with the certainty necessary to continue creating jobs and delivering immense benefits to the American people.
